Review of Helmut Newcake

Absolutely delicious!!!! We went twice during our trip to Paris. We would have gone more but they are closed on Sundays and Mondays and only open 11-7 on the other days. Being Celiac, I felt like I was missing a huge part of the Paris food experience. Then we found this shop. We got lunch and desserts both days. The first day was salads and the next day a sandwich. I almost cried tears of joy. I haven’t had a normal tasting sandwich in 7 months. We bought several pastries each time we went. We also bought cookies, meringues, bread and granola to go. Everything was delish! The sweet girl in the shop was darling when I kept adding food to my order. I seriously wanted to give the owners a kiss for providing the Paris food experience for those of us that cannot eat gluten. 😘 I really wish I spoke French so I could buy their cookbook and understand what it was saying.
