I have enjoyed Helvatia Tavern in the past and was very impressed that they have a terrific tasting gluten free bun for their tasty burgers that my girlfriend really enjoyed. Their fries are not battered, this GF as well.

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Excellent

They were out of gluten-free buns when I went so I’m not able to tell you how that was. They stated that their fries are fried in their own dedicated fryer making them for you. The fries are hand cut there and they tasted OK. The burger was just on a bit of lettuce and had no flavor at all. Not to mention, I also got horribly sick after this. I honestly wouldn’t go here.

Gluten free buns, dedicated fryer, just get your burger dry to avoid cross contamination. Our server was great and celiac herself.

They just added gluten free buns to the menu.
