Dedicated gluten-free place, plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans, too. Excellent place to breakfast, brunch (they have a brunc menu until 12:00), lunch and early dinner. You can take awaw pastries, too. Good place to sit and talk, they are a bit slow here, but very nice, lovely place. Everything is fresh and healthy. Highly recommended for celiac. Easy to find in the city center, few minutes from Ferenciek Tere.
Please delete that this place is dedicated glutenfree. There is a small text in the bottom of the hungarian menu where they put that the ingerdients they use contains traces if gluten!! We asked the waitress who said that in the kitchen they use ingredients which may contain gluten, but they think it is not an issue as nobody of their guest experiences syptoms after eatjng their food…. This place is not safe for celiac people!!!!
Cute cafe in a pedestrian zone. There is outside seating as well. The menu is completely gluten free and vegan, although there is the caveat on the menu that there might be traces in some products. You can ask the staff about it. We tried the blueberry cake (they only have 2 kinds: blueberry and tiramisu) and a waffe with ice cream. It was delicious! However, service is somewhat slow.
Ottima scelta gluten free e vengano, personale attento e gentile
What a great little cafe! And so amazing to actually have a choice, so much, I couldn’t decide! Everything is GF with vegan options too. We stopped for a cold coffee and cake mid afternoon and were super impressed. Even my OH who isn’t GF loved everything and was very complimentary. We shared a matcha mango cake, chocolate and peanut cake and, because I crave them so badly, a cinnamon swirl. Everything was so good! My only moan would be the cinnamon bun needed icing or cream but I had cream on my iced coffee so did it myself! An absolute must visit!
Awesome little restaurant! We went there two times in a row, once for dinner and once for breakfast, and the options were delicious each time (my favorite was the waffle with peanutbutter). The whole menu is gluten-free and they have a lot of vegan and dairy-free options as well and the staff was super friendly!
Had a delicious brunch here, really great oatmeal bowl that was both hearty and healthy, and my boyfriend tried the vegan quesadilla which was delicious. They do have a disclaimer that some things could have gluten in the kitchen so be sure to say you are celiac if that’s the case, but early every single thing on the menu is already gluten free so it feels very safe, and I had no reaction at all.
Dedicated gluten free place and friendly staff.
I cannot comment on the meals and soups (people seem to like those)but we stopped off one morning for breakfast pastries and although we appreciate the effort of make GF cinnamon and pistachio swirls the pastry was like cardboard. Maybe they’re lactose or vegan or sugar free as well causing pastry to be difficult. Not worth the stop for baked goods.
Hidden gem! Had the tomato soup, a sandwich and a cinnamon roll. My husband got a mango lemonade which was fresh and so yummy!
