Went tonight (we couldn't find the Journey Cafe) as my mother is vegan and they had gluten free items listed on their menu. Got the gluten free nachos as those were the least likely to be cross contaminated. Asked for the gluten free cheesecake but they were sold out so the woman working suggested the gluten free peanut butter chocolate bar.
Within 20 minutes of eating there my stomach was swollen as though I was 6 months pregnant. Not sure which of those items I was glutened by but now I'm in horrible pain. If you are celiac, don't chance it. This sucks.

Ate there a few times.
1. Vegan Bacon burger - on a gluten free bagel (not toasted, they only have a single shared toaster). Tested gluten free with Nima. Was pretty good. Also had bagel (again, not toasted) and cream cheese. That also tested gluten free.
2. Nachos - they have gluten free tortilla chips. Tested gluten free with Nima.
3. Nachos again - tested positive with nima. Of course didn’t eat it.
Overall decent handling of gluten free food. Can’t be sure though that food would be gluten free on all occasions.

Great spot but cross contamination can occur. They are very careful but they said up front that it could be a concern for celiac sensitivity. He said the safest thing to eat would be their nachos so we ordered those. They were delicious and we didn't have a problem with them.
This is a vegan restaurant that has mostly gluten free entrees. They make their own GF buns and they were fantastic! They were out of GF lasagne when we ate there, but it sounded delicious. We are gluten sensitive, not celiac, so I did not ask about cross contamination. All 5 of us got different entrees, and all 5 of us loved our meal. Highly recommend the taro burger.
