This restaurant offers several GF options on their menu, but it is not safe for people with Celiac. The past couple times I have gone, they have made careless mistakes and I have gotten sick. I always tell the waiter I have Celiac and ask them to tell the kitchen as well. However, I ordered the truffle fries which were marked as GF on the menu. When the waiter came over to ask how they were, I commented that I was so grateful they had a dedicated fryer. The waiter then told me they didn’t. The owner apologized profusely and said he takes this very seriously and would remove the GF symbol from this item on the menu. I decided to try one more time a few months later and had another bad experience. I ordered the hummus without the bread. The waiter assured me it was GF. It came with fried chickpeas on top. I started eating it and then thought to triple check the fried chickpeas weren’t fried in the deep fryer. Sure enough they were. Again, the owner apologized and said it was a careless mistake because the kitchen was busy. I got sick again and will never go back. It’s too bad because the food is delicious. However, this place is simply not safe for people with Celiac.
