Het Strand "restaurant aan zee"

Ik bestelde een Italiaanse tosti op een glutenvrij broodje. De smaak was ok. Wel wat weinig en het bakje met salade vonden wij niet lekker. Patat wordt in een aparte frituurpan gebakken. Prijzen zijn fors.

Hier kan je heerlijk glutenvrij en melkvrij lunchen en avondeten! Ruime keuze!

Altijd Glutenvrij. Nooit een probleem mee gehad. Ze gaan er zorgvuldig mee om. Eten wordt apart geserveerd. Heerlijk eten. Ik neem vaak trio van vis, carpaccio, tournedos of bavette. De kok kan veel aanpassen zodat het glutenvrij is. Frietjes gaan in een aparte frituur. Wel van tevoren aangeven dat je coeliaki hebt.

Gluten free was no problem at all! The chef told us he could adjust the menu a bit and we got besides a gluten free bread also seperate fries and salad. And they have gluten free beer. Nice experience! One negative point: a vegetarian gluten free main dish was not available (or at least not at the menu, however we did not ask for options, so it might be different if you just ask)

Service was slow and indifferent. I asked for gluten free options and was told they would bring me a gf menu, but nothing happened. When we asked again we got a QR code for a list of all allergens for all menu items, but it wasn't up to date with the normal menu.

I ordered steak and chips, saying I wanted both gf, but when the chips arrived they said they weren't gf, as they don't have a separate fryer (contradicting an earlier review).

I think I got glutened there, as the next day I was ill, but I'm not sure. (I didn't eat the chips)

We enjoyed lunch! There were quite some different gluten-free options. The waiter knew his stuff and adviced us on what could or couldn’t be prepared gluten-free. The gluten-free dish was served sperately and the waiter came back to check on that. Impressed!
