Hexenhäusle

Hexenhausle, the little witches house, is a delightful scenic beer garden and cafe restaurant just outside the Imperial castle. Menu is German/ English and while GF items were not marked, the waitstaff were patient and helpful and explained how dishes could be made GF. Meats, sauces, sausages were GF, the potato dumplings were not but can be subbed w roast potatoes. We had roast goose and pork shoulder, and both were exceptionally tasty. The reason for the excellent review is that the food was outstanding, the scenery is picture perfect, and it was a delight to find such good food near a touristy area.
