Review of Hickory Hog

After reading good reviews we decided to give it a try. The young girl taking orders said there weren’t any GF except a couple of sides. I told her that the reviews mentioned the owners wife I’d celiac and mist things were safe to eat. Asked about the meat and sauces and was told they were not GF. I had to ask er to check either the kitchen (she didn’t think of it herself). Sure enough the meat is GF. Seating is un comfortable and was disappointed before we even got our food. Yes, the food was excellent and I didn’t get sick but not a great experience.
