Do NOT go if you legitimately have an allergy or celiac disease as we were just informed the gluten free fryer is not actually 100% gluten free!!

I have celiac. I told the server. I ordered a burger from the GF menu. I reminded the server. When the meals were brought to the table my son's meal was wrong (he does not have celiac and ordered from the standard menu. At that time, the server said to me that my meal was correct. Halfway through the meal the server came to take my plate to cook me a new meal. When I asked why she told me that the bun was not GF after all. Very, very bad experience.

This place has awesome wings! The burgers are also really good and the gluten free buns are one of the best I've had. I highly recommend it!

Have been to High Horse about 6 or 7 times. Every meal is delicious. Very extensive gluten free menu. Lots of options. Large portions.

Was given a meal with a non-gluten free bun. Was the only issue I've ever had here. Would recommend to anyone.

Been there a number of times. Usually very good. Gluten free menu. However last time we went, my son ordered a gluten free burger. It came out with a non-gluten free bun. When we brought it to their attention they said they would go back to the kitchen and look into it. They came back with a gluten free bun and thought we could just switch it. We had to tell them that because the burger had touched a non-gluten free bun that a new burger was necessary. They did cook a new burger. We expected better execution and education from this place. As always if you have Celiac, be diligent and careful.

Waiter (Tom) was terrific. Took my food allergies in stride. Their burgers and garlic fries are the best!

Lets start with the good: the food was amazing! I had a cheeseburger and fries with the most delicious gf bun I've ever had. They have tons of gf options. They do not have a printed out lunch menu but don't let this mislead you: you basically just order whatever sandwich you like on a gf bun. They also have gf soups and salads. Then the bad: the service was very slow and inattentive. They brought me regular instead of sweet potato fries and it took forever to get them swapped. I did think the quality of the food and the gf friendliness overshadows this, but there is room for improvement.

Cozy atmosphere, pleasant staff -- absolutely delicious food! Haven't had a good GF dining-out experience in quite some time; purchasing my own foods has gotten remarkably easier, but there are still a lot of people and places who don't really understand what it means and how important it is. The staff at the High Horse took our concerns seriously, and didn't treat us like we were being difficult -- something I'll bet people without food allergies really take for granted -- and they made sure we were happy and well-fed. Prices were perfectly reasonable, too; it was an all-around wonderful experience.

Kudos to High Horse!

Went for lunch on a Saturday. Was told they do not have a GF lunch menu. Tried one of the many other options in Amherst instead.
