All of the restaurants at The Breakers were absolutely incredible with my 8 year old who has Celiac. The servers were knowledgeable, there were separate gluten free menus and our son’s meals were delivered to the table separately with an explanation that all precautions were taken. I’ve never felt more confident in my son’s safety at a restaurant!

We found all restaurants at The Breakers follow consistent training & education. While their menu at HMF appeared limited based on Items were marked GF on the menu, we were told specifically that if we wanted something off the menu, to ask and chef could probably make it. They change gloves any time it’s beyond a dietary preference & order always came out separately. Designated server would always confirm that “item—whatever it specifically was” was gluten free as plate was set down. Any time I confirmed that something specifically on plate was GF, I was immediately told yes, this was made in a dedicated fryer or let me double check with the kitchen.
Portions were smaller but filling. We dined at HMF twice during our 4-day stay and never had to order additional food.
Excellent service by Heather but we were taken care of well by other staff as well. Food delicious. Ambiance was nice. Just a relaxing & fun historic venue with great food! They had an amazing GF chocolate torte with ice cream that was heaven on a plate for our celiac daughter that rarely is able to safely order dessert other than ice cream when we decide to venture out.
