All the traditional fish & chips stuff is available gluten free, there is even gluten removed bottled beer. Our waitress was knowledgeable about their menu options. There is separate frying oil for the gluten free menu options. We thought the chips were very good, too. It can be crowded due to the location, especially before and after the shows. You can get a takeaway as well.
Been a couple of times - one time I didn’t get sick the other time I did. First time I only had fish and chips, second time I also had the sticky toffee pudding. The sticky toffee pudding tasted too good to be gluten free and it made me concerned. Lo and behold I was really, really sick later that evening. I would take care to double check everything with the servers. Everything tastes delicious but not worth the pain.
Great lunch yesterday! Our server took great care of me. I had the cod bites with chips and a side salad. Delish! They have everything marked on the menu and even have a special side section in the upper corner of the menu for their popular fish and chips (cod, haddock and one other fish).
Delicate, crispy, crunchy GF beer battered cod and onion rings. GF French fries were great as well all fried in dedicated fryer. First time in years I've been able to eat onion rings and fish/chips. Wonderfully light and delicious. Very helpful and friendly staff. Can't wait to return.
Had high hopes for this place but it didn’t really live up to the reviews. Very chaotic staff despite the place not massively busy. Ordered gf cod & chips and a side of gf onion rings with side of mushy peas which they forgot to give us and brought them to the table after we’d eaten our meals. They did take these off the bill. The main fish was ok- nothing outstanding, the onions rings were poor , barely any batter on and the pool of grease / oil in the bowl was grim. They didn’t look like they had been drained off at all. Wouldn’t return. Don’t think it’s worth almost £18 for fish and chips sorry.
Many gluten free options and the battered gluten free fish was terrific!
They have a gf menu with several options including dessert. The gf onion rings were the best I’ve ever had! The fish & chips were very good. I had the cod. I’d definitely return. I had no issues whatsoever. We arrived within a few minutes of opening, by the time we left the place was full. The gf items were the same price and portion size as the gluten filled versions.
The restaurant was super chaotic, and my server felt cross contact odds were risky despite a dedicated fryer. I decided to order anyway given positive reviews from others and gf influencers, but walking by the kitchen, it looked extremely risky so I started getting more nervous. Asked more questions of kitchen staff, didn’t make me feel better. Then when my food arrived, the plate was dirty as if it hadn’t been washed well, same with my silverware — that alone was probably a cross contact risk and didn’t bode well for the rest of their equipment. That was my last straw, decided it wasn’t worth getting sick so I gave my food to my husband and ended up eating elsewhere. I’d recommend trying Mayfair Chippy or Wicked Fish Spitalfields instead for safe fish and chips (plus, my husband said these two taste better too).
The food was great, the kitchen has a separate fryer for gluten free fish and chips. Of course, there is always a risk but we had zero issues both times and we ate here during our visit to London. They even have a gluten free option for malt vinegar. The gluten free cheesecake and carrot cake were also delicious!
Fantastic gluten free fish and chips. Food cooked in separate oil. Lots of different options and clearly stated what was okay to eat on the menu.
Went for cod bites and chips - tasted amazing and would recommend. If back in the area would go here again. Safe and delicious.
