Ice cream scoops reused, high chance of cross contamination. Asked for gluten free cone and it was placed in a bag with non gluten free cones. Unfortunately, they dont truly understand GF.
I asked if they have gluten free ice cream and the guy said yes and as I asked all the questions to find out no it isn't safe. Why do places offer gluten free ice cream if they cross contaminate it with other ice cream and utensils. It's not hard to leave a small batch of vanilla & chocolate ice cream in the back for people who need it to be gluten free. Why even bother to say they serve gluten free ice cream.
If you ask your server about their gluten free options, they will happily tell you which flavors do and do not include gluten!
