Excellent experience! They have a clearly labeled allergen menu. One of the chefs came outside to the table on a busy night to discuss the severity of my “allergy.” He said burgers are cooked on the same grill as the buns but they are happy to make it in a clean pan. They removed the bacon without me having to ask because it was made on the grill and risked cross contamination.
I’ve eaten here plenty of times and I’ve never had an issue. I typically get the pulled pork or brisket platter. Potato salad, coleslaw, collard greens are all clear. All of their BBQ sauces are clear too. All of the servers are knowledgeable and if they don’t know, they ask. Food is consistently delicious
Ask for the allergen menu - they report gluten, dairy, and other common allergens. Their wings (amazing) are normally flash fried in a gluten contaminated fryer but you can ask them to be baked (makes them GF) but it requires an extra 20-30 min wait, so put the order in early!! Their nachos are unfortunately fried with other things but you can ask to have it on a bed of lettuce instead! I had no problems eating here with good communication with the server. Highly recommend trying their brisket!
I enjoyed my dinner at Home Team! The waitress knew exactly what might be cross contaminated, advised on what I could eat, and assured me she would alert the chef. They do have an allergen menu. I had the pulled pork, cole slaw and baked beans. All the sauces are gf (confirm for yourself though). No reaction, so good!
