Review of Homestay El Peregrino

Calle de los pasos 8a, Antigua Guatemala, Guatemala

Overall Rating

Review

I am celiac and this was the best place where I could eat in Antigua and even in Guatemala.

The food is healthy and homemade, local Guatemalan food, and the taste is just incredible. They go to the market every morning, so everything they cook daily is fresh. They are in this business for over 20years and they really know how to adapt their menu to any allergy. I can say that they really care about it.

The kitchen is very clean and there is no crossed contamination.

I ate all their traditional meals and even the tortillas they make them only with corn flour.

Also, the best thing of this place is that Violeta and her sons are really welcoming, caring and nice people with who you can have a good conversation.
