Have eaten here several times and never gotten sick! usually get the BLT. asked about the cross contamination and they were like “oh yeah you’ll be fine”. really good gf bread too.
I was worried about cross contamination while eating out today, and decided to just stick with their kale Caesar. I asked for no croutons and it was noted by the staff, but unfortunately came out to the table with croutons. I asked for it to be remade, and it came back still again with croutons, but somewhat down in the middle of the salad. This made me think/feel that they were just picked out instead of the salad being entirely remade, even though a severe gluten allergy was notified. Great staff and delicious food, I’m just now uncomfortable with the lack of care.
Excellent GF bread. Fries and au jus are both GF too. Knowledgeable staff.

I ordered via Uber eats so couldn’t communicate regarding cross contamination. I didn’t get sick and it was so nice to have a sandwich I didn’t have to make for myself.
My boyfriend and I ordered Honey Hole via Uber Eats. His sandwich with normal bread, mine with the gluten free baguette. He also ordered a side of the cheese fries. His box came with a handwritten note warning of cross contamination! The Uber eats app also has the option to select “allergy.”
Not safe for celiacs. Gluten free sandwich tested positive for gluten with Nima.
Delicious gf baguettes for wonderful sandwiches. Vegan options. Cider. Very good spot. The french fries were tasty too. I’m not sure if it is celiac-friendly, but 3 in our party of 6 are gf and we ate there without any trouble. Very popular so find a seat if you can.
they changed their recipes a few years ago to make almost all sandwiches gluten free with a bun substitute. the veggie protein sandwiches are not gluten free
Dennis is the best bartender ever! Really nice and really helpful. All sandwiches can be made gf unless it has au jus. I got Chachi's Favorite on a gf baguette and fries. It was one of the best sandwiches I've had! You don't often get a baguette as the gf option and it was so good that I took a bite and was like, "this cannot be gf." But Dennis assured me it was, and I never got sick. Really delicious. Small venue, we went at about 6pm on a Friday and it was really busy. We had to wait a bit outside for two seats at the bar to open up, but I am really glad we didn't go somewhere else because this food was phenomenal!
OMG best gluten free sandwich EVER. Not all of their sandwiches can be made gluten free but there selection of ones that can be is a wide variety. If you are in the Capitol Hill area, you have to stop and eat here! I was surprised that this place was not already on the app.
