California Cuisine in an old airplane hanger (at least it looks like it). Moderate-upscale local dining; the menu changes frequently depending upon availability of local ingredients. This restaurant does not have a dedicated cooking area nor a gluten free menu. But my waiter told me that, over the course of about 3 years, they’ve re-worked the menus so that most entrees and other items are either naturally gluten free, or can be easily adjusted to be gluten free (I.e. replace pasta in dish with a potato option). I am severely sensitive and react from even slight amounts of cross-contamination. I’ve eaten here on date nights with my husband and have never gotten sick. Last week we ordered a lot of starters to share: House-made pickled vegetables, a sausage, and a sautéed shrimp tapas. Then husband ordered a burger (no bun), and I got some kind of slow-cooked pork that melted in my mouth. They also have a full bar with specialty drinks, and a large beer and wine menu. I love eating here, trying the new flavors they’ve put together, and knowing I won’t get sick afterwards. Highly recommend for a nicer-type restaurant.
