Review of Hooked Restaurant

We used to go here every year at Ocean City as a but nicer of a place than most of what is in OC, but not too expensive. Last year we were here on my Celiac daughter's birthday. I went in and asked if they could make her French fries in a pan and was told yes, so we all went in. When we ordered and I told the waiter we'd been told this was an option he just said "she could have watermelon." I told him to ask for me and he reluctantly said "ok" and her food came with fries. She did not get sick and I assume they were cooked separately, but this was very upsetting. The restaurant has also turned into a sports bar and the meal I normally ordered had a different sauce that made it worse. I won't be going back, but I've marked it Celiac friendly because my daughter did not get sick.
