I love mussels sooo much but I haven’t been able to get them at restaurants due to my dairy intolerance but here they do a white wine garlic sauce NO CREAM! I was so excited and they were exceptional! They also provided gluten free bread. Besides the mussels (which are amazing) they also have gluten free fish and chips and many more options Must go if you are in Galway

The gluten-free fish and chips is fantastic, and I stop by every time I’m in Galway. They also offer Galway Cider, which is very nice.

I went with a large group of 12, so I’m not sure if my reported allergy was overlooked but there had to have been some cross contamination as I have had symptoms. Ordered the seafood chowder (delicious) but it came with the bread on the side. The GF Fish and chips was huge and very good! Overall great environment, I’m sure with a smaller group things would have went smoother as it has great reviews!

Loved the gf fish and chips! Other items we’re gf but could not eat them all. Staff also helped me navigate around other allergens of garlic and onions. Hope to come back some day. Not too loud and small cozy place. Highly recommend.

Celiacs beware! The seafood chowder tested with some gluten, possibly cross contamination, and the gluten-free bread served with it tested for strong gluten presence.

They were adamant that it was gluten-free and kept separate, so possibly the garlic seasoning they put on it was contained or they used a contaminated spoon/knife.

The gluten-free fish and chips tested safe and were delicious! I might return but would need to test everything, every time. They did seem to care, but also seemed at a loss to figure it out.

They did not know that spices can have gluten, and while I believe they have a separate fryer, I do not know how careful the kitchen is to avoid cross contamination.

GF items marked clearly on menu. I had the GF fish burger and it came in a delicious gf bun full of sesame seeds. Servers were knowledgeable about GF and prices were very reasonable. would highly recommend!

Excellent chowder and the best gluten free fish and chips I’ve had. Great salads as well. Separate fryers for both fish and chips. It’s a small place that fills up fast, so make sure you get a spot! I’m a sensitive celiac and had no issues.

I was on a hunt for safe gluten-free fish and chips and was thrilled when I found Hooked. They have separate fryers for their gf food, including calamari! The fish and chips were great, but the calamari was especially amazing - my non-gf husband said it was some of the best he’s ever had. Highly recommend!
