I was out with some co-workers. Upon arrival we were told to scan the QR code at the bar for the complete menu. I was relieved to find that they had a Blake’s Hard Cider. When I asked for it, I was told they were out. I explained that I have Celiac Disease and I can’t consume Gluten and the bar tender mentioned another cider that I had never heard of. I told him I needed to do some research before ordering. I was unable to find anything on the cider’s safety online. The bartender returned with my boss’ drink. I asked about something else and decided on a Mountain Dew. A few moments later he came back with the Cider. I told him that was not what I ordered and he got upset and then attempted to mansplain to me where Gluten comes from. I reiterated that I didn’t want that drink because if he was wrong it could make me physically ill and requested the Mountain Dew again. He brought it out, but tried to get me to take the cider once more. I was embarrassed and livid. I left the bar as soon as my co-workers were finished with their drinks.

Ordered a burger on a GF bun and specified no fries on the plate. Came out with fries. They sent it back and brought me a new one. I questioned whether it was GF but 2 staff members confirmed it was GF. I had eaten 75% of it when the manager came by and said it was gluten. He was sympathetic and took the burger off the bill, but they still have some work to do.

They have glutton free options but the staff is not knowledgeable and cross contamination is likely
Nothing to eat. I went here with friends and they had no gluten free options. The server had no experience and kept confusing dairy free with gluten free.
Only g free options for food are salads or burgers with a g free bun, but they do have quite a few options as far as drinks-gluten free beers and ciders.

No they do not have GF food but maybe 1 salad. I have stopped in and asked multiple times.

definitely none celiac friendly. great food but no isolation practices at all and virtually nothing outside of burgers without buns that you can eat. Excellent restaurant but not for us mutants whose body hates gluten .
Not sure how this even makes the GF app. There's nothing but non-breaded wings Celiacs can eat on the menu. And that stands to be tested, as there isn't even a dedicated fryer!
No
Great food for your non-gf friends. They usually have a great selection of ciders.
No
Great place if you are not GF. No dedicated menu and very little that is safe to eat.
Gluten free menu? Where? Drink menu only.

I love HopCat from my pre-gf days, but they have next to nothing that's actually gf now. Chili and salads, that's about it. Fried items have contamination issues (including taco shells). They do have ciders, meads, and liquor.
We were here this past weekend and here's what we encountered. Gluten Free menu? No. Staff knowledgable about gluten allergies? Absolutely. They went through the regular menu and explained to us what would and would not be safe, and why. That being said, the only thing left that we felt was safe to eat were the salads. Even the Fricken Chicken Nachos contained tortillas that were fried in the same oil used for everything. A little disappointing, because with the investment in some GF buns and GF pasta, several more dishes could've been made available to people with gluten issues.
The list of GF drinks was fairly extensive, except that the Virtue Ciders were all gone, and we were left with one cider and a mead (we sat down to eat at 8 pm on a Saturday night). If we'd been there earlier though, we probably wouldn't have had that problem.
With a few changes, I think this place could be great for those of us with Celiac, but as it stands, I wouldn't recommend unless you just want a salad.

Love the Fricken Chicken Tacos! Will go there again!
Menu is updated very frequently so I always know if they have made any changes to menu items that wont be gluten free any longer or new additions that are! Usually they have all three Greens, but theirs is more expensive than other bars in GR that offer Greens as well (by around 3$)
Great place! Go there. Tacos were great. Green's GF beer. Will stop here every time in GR.
Excellent
