Food is good but not a lot of gf options and everything is pretty pricey

They have GF options but then make zero effort for cross contamination. Would be better if they just didn’t attempt to offer. They did cook my breakfast in a separate pan after talking to waitress but would not recommend.

I met a professional group at Hope Breakfast Bar in St. Louis Park this morning. I had done my homework and saw they had GF menu items, and I was really looking forward to breakfast. Upon arrival, I again reviewed the menu and made my choice from one of the few GF items available - only to be told by the waitress that I could not eat there after I informed her I had Celiac disease. They actually REFUSED to make food for me, as they said it was a liability for the restaurant because of cross-contamination. I asked if they could just make me a fried egg in a separate pan, and I again, I was refused any food at the restaurant. She said the cooks would not change gloves to cook my egg separately. Talk about embarrassing and calling out my Celiac in front of my entire small group. I would NOT recommend this establishment to anyone with Celiac, as you will be turned away. I sure hope they reconsider their stance as relates Celiac want-to-be customers . . .

Plenty of marked gluten free options, knowledgeable staff. Will definitely go again!
