The servers have no clue what they are serving you! If you have wheat/gluten allergies/sensitivities or are celiac I suggest you stay far away from this place. Their menu advertises "all meats and sauces are gluten free with the exception of the 1/2 chicken"
When I asked about the chicken wings (if they are fried in a fryer with wheat items) our server said they are smoked. I also asked about the fries and their fryer. He said they have a dedicated fryer for the fries so I was pretty excited. He went to the kitchen to ask some questions for us and came back and stated that the fries do have a dedicated fryer but are now coated with flour to make them more crispy so those would not be safe. Apparently the 1/2 chicken recently changed recipe so now it is in fact gluten free.
We ordered the brisket, 1/2 chicken, and wings. All I ate was a few bites of the 1/2 chicken and a few wings that were soaked in a super sweet sauce. They were crispy so I was a bit suspicious. I also ate a slice of brisket. Immediately after leaving I had sharp stomach pains and a bubble feeling at the top of my stomach. I knew we were glutened at that point. 5 days later we are still having strong symptoms which tells me this isn't just contamination - they fed us wheat after we asked all the questions.
If you need wheat & dairy free, they have absolutely nothing for you except wine.

I am a sensitive celiac and have eaten here many times without getting sick. I've always gotten the meat plate + BBQ baked beans. Ask for yourself, obviously, but the woman behind the register told me everything except the mac and cheese is gluten free. Also, it's delicious.
Yes
The menu does not give enough info on GF due to the number of items with soy sauce. My choice to eat lunch was based on a caring staff who knew about Celiac issues. I had the pulled pork and double slaw.
