My fried chicken and fries were amazing. Fresh from the frier, crispy, and hot. Lots of sauces to select from. Winner winner chicken dinner!

Dedicated fryer. No exaggeration this is perhaps the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had, GF or otherwise. Stopped here for eats during road trip, called ahead for easy pick up. I might return to VA just to eat here again. It was that good!

We've eaten at Hot Chick RVA twice. The first time food and service were mediocre but passable. The second time, we waited 40 minutes outside in poor weather after the host said it would be a 20 minute wait. We would have waited inside except my daughter uses a wheelchair and the inside is not wheelchair accessible (there is an upstairs section accessible only by stairs and the downstairs tables are all high with stools and alongside a very narrow aisle across from the open kitchen- nowhere for a wheelchair.) We were eventually seated, but after a total of an hour and a half and still no food we asked for our food to go. Parts of our meals were missing from the to go order and the gluten free waffle was dry and barely edible. An automatic gratuity was added even though we ended up taking our meals to go. We don't plan to return.

They say that they take extra precautions and they probably do to an extent. But I have celiac and am super sensitive. I got sick about an hour after eating.

Yum, yum, yum! I haven't had fried chicken, legit pieces of fried chicken in quite some time. My daughter got a fried chicken sandwich with fries, which she said was really good. The chicken was good, the sauces were good, the service was good. Just good all around! Highly recommend!

Holy moly. I haven’t had anything like this GF, period. The sandwiches are something special for someone with celiac. I nearly cried when I took my first bite. Worth going out of your way!

Delicious fried chicken and waffle fries. Some sauces were not gf, but I tried the house hot sauce, bbq sauce and bleu cheese dressing which were gf and yummy. I echo other post about the breading being very thin. Tasted great and was cooked well so it was juicy and tender. Waitress was knowledgeable or willing to ask for clarification.

Very knowledgeable of gluten free. First time I’ve had Nashville chicken. Great place to go for things you can’t get anywhere else.

Had the gf chicken tenders and waffle fries. No reaction and the chicken was very tender but was hoping for a bit more breading.

The menu isn’t obvious that it is GF but they have a dedicated fryer. The waitress didn’t seem knowledgeable and told me the sides were all GF. They weren’t, and the cook made a point of coming over and telling me himself that the gravy wasn’t and asked what I would like to do. I was very impressed and felt very confident in my meal. Would definitely eat here again.

I had the classic fried chicken sandwich gluten free and it was amazing!! When ordering online the menu doesn’t state if it’s gluten free or not but when you click on the item it will give you an option to say you have a gluten allergy. I think most most everything can be gluten free and they do have a gluten free bun. I didn’t ask personally but I read on a gluten free Instagram page their fryer is dedicated gluten free, and I had no issues.

I’m pretty sure almost everything can be done gluten free. Amazing gluten free fried chicken.

Exceptional! Manager (owner?) explained they have several small dedicated fryers for gluten free dishes. Menu had so many choices. Will definitely be back!!

Celiac friendly?

Yes

Not celiac friendly. I spoke with a manager who stated they do not have a dedicated fryer. We didn't eat here because I have celiac but it might be good for folks with ncgi.

Food was meh. Staff did not seem knowledgeable.
