$6 extra for one of the worst gluten-free pizza doughs I've ever had!Having a severe gluten allergy, I always research restaurants carefully. I chose this restaurant specifically because it was near Durham Regional HQ and they had gluten free options. I was flabbergasted to discover that they charged $6 extra for gluten free dough on the pizza. $6!! This meant that the personal-sized pizza was $22 instead of $16. I have never been charged that much for gluten free dough, pasta or bread in any restaurant ever. The standard across most restaurants is$2 or $3. Furthermore, this was the worst gluten free pizza crust I've ever had. It was hard and tasted like cardboard. I was even more irked at having to pay so much for such a crappy experience. I have regular lunch meetings in Whitby and I will not go back to this restaurant or it's sister restaurant The Brock House.
