The food was good. I had the pancakes and did not have a reaction. I would not recommend to anyone that is highly sensitive to gluten due to cross contamination. The pancakes are listed as "gluten free diet pancakes" due to the possibility of cross contamination.
I ate here yesterday morning and was not disappointed! The gluten free pancakes are awesome! I even had banana on top of them and did not have a reaction! The server even brought me a new container of syrup. I’m definitely going back really soon!
Excellent choice for breakfast. Lots of seating so we didn't have to wait. Gluten free items are clearing listed on the menu. They even have a couple of Paleo options. Gluten free pancakes were great and the service was excellent and knowledgeable of gluten allergies.
I had their gluten free pancakes for breakfast and it was very good! They said the original syrup is okay. The pancakes really fluffy and delishhhh! Our waitress was very helpful and she said they have a separate cooking area for making all the gluten free food!
I really wanted to like this place. The idea of gf pancakes at a restaurant is a big deal for someone w/celiac. Unfortunately we arrived when so many others did. It was too busy to get a fair rating for gf. The server we had was new also. Our food did not arrive at our table exactly as ordered. I imagine or hope that it would be a different experience if not so busy. So my recommendation is try it out when it's not busy, be specific when ordering and make sure all is as ordered when it arrives. There menu does indicate not recommended for people w/celiac.
I have never eaten so much -especially being GF. All the food looks amazing - great combos - loved their Acapulco omelette but we all got different items and had to sample each other's dishes - everything was so delicious. Thanks to our waitress Gypsie who was a delight! Whole experience - never felt being GF was something abnormal!
Would give it more stars if I could! The gluten free French toast was DIVINE! Our waitress asked questions about subjects she was unsure of and I had absolutely NO problem with the food. Will go back and will highly recommend this restaurant to celiacs.
This place has "We Have A GF Menu" on their sign, yet has a "menu" of three items. Not only that, but they offer no substitutions on their meals. I wasn't even allowed to substitute the pancakes for fruit or potatoes without an up charge of $1-2. The staff wasn't accommodating. If you don't have options, don't advertise.
the food I had was good. no complaints there. they had french toast, muffins and pancakrs. the waitress did not speak good English so I was worried my food was not gluten free. she did double check for me. if she could understand me better and I knew i was safe I would have rated higher.
I had a very pleasant experience here. I was skeptical after reading prior reviews. We went around 8:30am on a Tuesday. It was not busy so the waitress was very patient with me. She informed me there is a separate grill and utensils for gf items. I ordered the gluten free pancakes(they have gf French toast too). The menu lists what types of substitute flours they use for each item. The pancakes tasted just like normal ones! I had no pain after this meal. I highly recommend this place for celiacs!
Their sign advertises GF menu. It was misleading and disappointing. The menu consisted of 3 or 4 items which were Rice Chex cereal, pancakes, and a muffin. The staff was not very educated on allergies or gluten intolerance. Pancakes were good but pricey and they did not come with any sides. Overall, I was disappointed.
The gf pancakes were amazing! I was able to request some yummy toppings similar to the other pancakes on the regular menu, so it felt like I was eating a regular meal just like my family. The portions are generous and I could only eat half. Delicious!
Gluten free pancakes and Belgium waffles were great I didn't even need the syrup. Awesome will definitely return. Server Stephanie was amazing. Owner even told us all gluten free food was made on a separate grill.
Let me start by saying that I will be eating here again; HOWEVER: you’re better off eating a frozen Udi’s muffin at home. The muffin was so bad it was laughable. The pancakes were just ok. I didn’t get sick, though, and that’s all I can really ask for 😂
I just ate there today with my family and 30 mins later I got sick. I wouldn’t recommend it. They claim to have a separate area for their gluten customers but they didn’t take any special care when I told them I have celiac. My waitress just wrote it down and told me it will be fine. If you have celiac DONT go here. If you’re gluten intolerant... take some glutenease with you or something. Very disappointed. Oh... and ... the food wasn’t that great.
My son loved the GF Belgian waffle. I found the GF French toast to be mediocre. Prices were on the high side. Not sure how they avoid cross contamination since regular pancake mix is used in the same kitchen where GF food is prepared.
They had a ton of options for gluten free breakfast. My celiac son ate all of his pancakes! They were much better than others we have tried. Staff also seemed very knowledgable, our waitress answered all my questions without hesitation.
I found this restaurant by using GF ap. I was not disappointed. I got the French toast with strawberries and whipped cream. They were awesome. The wait staff Miss April was very knowledgeable. They have a separate grill area.
Fantastic place to eat a GF breakfast. I had the gluten free pancakes which were the best I've ever had, and two eggs and bacon and did not get an upset stomach. I was told the GF pancakes and waffles are cooked in a designated area. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!
there are more gluten free options than what is on the menu, meaning that things which are typically gluten free on their own will not be cross contaminated here. such as eggs bacon sausage etc. just be sure to let your server know. it made our family feel normal again to be able yo go out for breakfast . we will be back.
Kelly, our server, was more than knowledgeable about my gluten free concerns. She suggested their GF French toast and it was fantastic! Highly recommend with "fresh fruit." I also had eggs and turkey sausage that were perfect as well. But, I was impressed by how much time our server took with us to make sure my GF concerns were met! ~Cindy, Raleigh, NC (FYI-never posted a review until now)
Great place to go for Gluten free breakfast. Small gf selection but they are very good with preparing. My daughter has celiac - Michelle(our waitress) was very knowledgeable & wonderful with her needs. The French toast was Amazing!!!! Will definitely go back. We all (non celiac) enjoyed our meal.
Gf French toast and pancakes were really good. Blueberry muffin was terrible. They don't have eggs or bacon on their gf menu which was confusing, but we had some bacon anyway. Not sure they knew entirely what they were doing, but the food we had was good.
