I went for brunch! While GF items weren’t marked on the menu, my waitress knew what would be safe for me to eat. Quite a few of the items were GF or could be modified to be GF. I had the shrimp & grits, along with gluten free cornbread (!!!) and a Bloody Mary. Everything was delicious. When the dishes were served they reiterated that they were “celiac safe”, which always brings me some comfort. I felt fine after my meal & had no reaction to the food!

The waitress knew exactly what was cooked and where. She was 100% able to steer me in good directions.
The GF cornbread and grits were outrageously good!
My omelet cooked separately was also very tasty. All and all a great meal in a place with very knowledgeable and kind staff.
My Non-GF dining partner also loved his breakfast! So a win win for everyone.

Not a ton of GF options for breakfast. I paid $13 for a small serving or yogurt with (a lot) of fruit.
GF pasta was terrible- consistency of cement. Took 40 minutes after ordering for them to say they couldn’t make our meal GF.
Decent selection of gluten free options. Had the pulled pork Mac and cheese with GF penne Option, and they left off the onion because they knew it could contaminate the meal. Food was good and no problems after!

One of my favorites! Menu is well marked, and there are a good amount of offerings.
Not celiac friendly. Everything is cooked on one grill. Will do eggs in seperate pan but not willing to do anything else!? Which I find strange. Major attitude when asked, said they were too busy to accommodate, even when I explained I would get very ill. Won't go back, which is sad, because I love that they serve local beef and veggies, but not worth the rude treatment and getting sick.

We had breakfast here last week and I was happy with the service, the food, environment and the accommodations for GF dining. I eat as naturally and organically as possible, but my companion was disappointed they did not have a low calorie sweetener other than stevia. I was disappointed that the substitution of cornbread for an English muffin was an additional $1, and when we casually mentioned cheese in grits, waitress offered to bring me some cheese to try it. I was charged $1 additional for a very small amount of cheese. LOVED the outside patio...I'll be returning, but will be aware that everything added or changed has additional fees, making it a $16+ breakfast (not including a beverage).

the wait staff is super helpful. the food is great. This is my favorite place to eat in Portland
Best crepe-style omelets! Dinner menu notes GF options, but the brunch menu does not. Servers are very helpful, but they are unwilling to make substitutions (such as more fruit instead of toast), which is the only thing that annoys me about this place. The food is great though!
