We've always found it a challenge to find a good place to stay for skiing with our son who suffers from celiac disease. Talheim is a great pension/hotel to stay for skiing! The daughter of the owner suffers from celiac disease so they are very well aware of the safety precautions. Gluten free bread, cereals and quite some choice from pre-packaged breakfast options (yoghurt, chocolate paste etc).
For dinner there is a set menu which contains most of the time 3 options to choose from for all guests. For gluten free there is always at least 1 option possible, sometimes even 3. Also gluten free deserts every evening.
Best part was that they are able to arrange gluten-free lunch for the ski school, even when they have lunch on the mountain (the ski teacher took the lunch is in bag with him). Great cooperation with Ski school Skill (one of the owners/directors also has a child with celiac disease).
Very nice rooms and excellent location next to ski school and ski lift. So highly recommended for a gluten free ski holiday.
