I had the Moroccan bowl with chicken, sweet potato chips and half ice tea half lemonade. The bowl was delicious. The chips were a little burnt. I ordered the house burger with a gluten free bun. It comes with fries but not sure if they have a dedicated fryer. It was one of the best gf burgers I've had and will be back if I'm ever in the area again. Service was great! Order at the counter and select your own seat.

Staff was honest about cross contamination risk. Did not eat here. Ended up at the City Market grocery store which had Schar bread and Snyder’s pretzels.

Dedicated fryer. Menu is plentiful, labeled well, fresh and yummy! I had a burger with a gluten-free bun and the dedicated fries and holy crap. It was amazing. The meat was high-quality, cooked to perfection, and the fries were out of this world. They had a cider on tap plus a stocked bar plus other beers. My gluten eating fiancé had “the best sandwich I may have ever eaten“, which was the smoked turkey bacon avacado sand. Apparently they smoke all of their meats overnight, what a treat! Great people, great atmosphere, great service.

I had the southwest bowl and not only was it delicious but it was three meals for me! They were very aware of what was not gluten free. My dad (not gluten free) had the burrito and said it was delicious. Will definitely be returning!

Had to try this place on our way through Buena Vista because of how highly rated it was. We stopped for lunch and it was quite busy and the kitchen area was pretty small, made me a little nervous about the possibility of cross-contamination. But I asked the girl taking our order the usual gluten-free related questions and she ensured that they take it seriously and that people with Celiac come in all the time. Ended up getting the House Burger and fries, really tasty and fresh! Despite the small kitchen space and busy hour, I didn’t get sick or have a reaction so they must do a pretty good job with cross contamination. I would say it’s pretty safe!

Having celiac was a non issue here. Plenty of choices, the staff was knowledgeable, and I didn’t have to settle for a lesser substitute at a premium price. This place has affordable, delicious, nutritious celiac-safe food. So grateful to have House Rock Kitchen around.

Quite frankly blown away by the food here. All of their GF items are marked and the bowls are outrageously good!! We ordered four bowls for two people, hoping to get two meals out of them and we had at least three meals from the huge quantities served! We ordered the Greek with grilled chicken, Moroccan with brisket, Southwestern with pulled pork and the Indian with salmon. Literally not a bad bite in the bunch - large portions, packed with healthy veggies, beans, pumpkin seeds and delicious dressings. We would be happy eating here daily, and the prices were very reasonable (under $20 per huge bowl). Very safe - staff was knowledgeable about GF and very accommodating. Highly recommend if you are in the area, and if not, get here fast!

Service was great! I told them I’m Celiac and they were aware of what to do. Food was amazing. I had one of the Grilled Chicken house bowl and it was big and delicious. Did not get sick after at all. They offer gluten-free items, but not a dedicated facility.

I cannot stress how terrible this was for Celiac. They proclaim they are good and can handle celiac but they brought gluten buns for both kids burgers, after we told them allergy and ordered everything Gluten Free. It took them a few minutes to even verify it was a gluten bun after my Celiac son ate half the burger. They did nothing after we brought it to their attention. Stay away, they do not do gluten free. It’s a terrible establishment.

PRIMO!!!! Sensitive celiac here: I had the burger with fries and kale slaw--not only was it all totally delicious, it's been a day later with NO side effects. The cashier, kitchen staff and server KNOW how to keep it gluten free. My boyfriend had the brisket sandwich with focaccia (not gf) and said it was excellent. Outstanding food, lots of options, nearly everything can be had gluten free, great service, and cool friendly vibe. I'm from NYC and I wish they were in my town!

So fresh and delicious. Every menu item is labeled as to whether it is dairy free, GF, vegetarian or paleo. The kids menu includes Sunbutter and jam and gf bread is available. Kombucha on tap! Highly recommend!

I ate at several restaurants while I was there. This one was by far best gluten free menu in the entire , everything tasted so good. If I didn't live so far away this would be my new go to place for lunch and dinner.
