Review of Hu Kitchen

LOVE it and my friend esme who i was visiting. i asked her where i'd be able to find some gluten free things for lunch and she took me to this fantastic place where i could eat ANYTHING i wanted! i'm so happy that dedicated gluten free kitchens are springing up. i really like the buffet line/cafeteria format at Hu, everything i've eaten here has been very good or better, and there's so much variety it's super hard to decide what to get! my only "complaint" is that the portions are so large it means i can only get 2 or 3 different items. i'm more of a tapas-style eater so i'm looking forward to going back one day when i can take leftovers for many meals/snacks back to wherever i'm staying rather than only a lunch while i'm out and about in manhattan.
