My family and I went here for dinner. Just want to give everyone a head up. There is not much parking. They do have “valet”, only because there is very little parking. As for the menu and food: Menu has noted on the bottom the side that are GF and the seafood can be broiled, or blackened. I had broiled Cod, red potatoes and veggie if the day(squash and zucchini). Honestly, it wasn’t very flavorful. I thought it was because of GF, but the other members of my family said the same thing. They got fried options and fries and wasn’t impressed. On the bright side, they have outdoor seating that was nice and the staff seemed knowledgeable and nice. I didn’t get sick, that always a bonus. Anyway, maybe it was an “off night” for the food, but this was out experience.
Gluten free items marked on the menu. Good amount of options. Happy with it. Great seafood!
Hull's Seafood is a casual restaurant that specializes in fresh-caught seafood. Its popularity was evident; even though we arrived by 5:30 on a Friday, we had to wait 35 minutes to be seated. The inside eating area was noisy with chatter (not loud music, thankfully).
Our server, Anthony, was only somewhat knowledgeable about GF offerings, but he was very good about checking with the kitchen to answer my questions.
My husband ordered rock shrimp, I ordered grouper, and we requested that the entrees both be kept GF so that we could share. The only mishap was that his hushpuppies (not GF) were served on the same plate as his rock shrimp, and he had to be careful to share the shrimp furthest from the possible source of cross-contamination.
The food was good, though not as spectacular as I had hoped, and I did not suffer any ill effects from the meal.
