Humble Bee Cafe

I don't review much because I tend to be a creature of habit out a a need to be gf safe.

It took a bit to find this gem because it's pretty hidden in a older strip mall. We sat outdoors at a picnic table. We were served by who we believe was the owner. She was sweet as can be and pointed out all gluten free options.

I ordered the pancake "panwich": a pancake folded like a burrito with a fried egg and a turkey sausage patty wrapped inside. The GF pancake was delicious and my gluten eating friends even enjoyed my leftovers. It comes with a scoop of frosting of some sort on top and shredded apples. While decent tasting, as a diabetic I didn't need the extra carbs so I passed on those. Non gluten free diners with me enjoyed their eggs Benedict (which could have been made GF) and biscuits with gravy, leaving everyone in our party equally pleased. Win!

Our sever mentioned a sister restaurant nearby (HumbleBee Cocina) so we will visit that one next.

Had the gluten free peaches and cream pancakes. They were pretty perfect. Not dense or gritty, not too sweet. I'm a really happy celiac after my breakfast here. Staff was really understanding when I explained I have celiac and can't eat gluten.

Had gluten free pancakes with fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, & raspberries). Served with butter, whip cream, & syrup. Side of turkey bacon. Also ordered their freshly made juice blend. Almond milk if you don't want cream for your coffee. Delicious!! Worth driving to!! They can individualize your order.
