Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

The only remotely gluten free items on the menu are a grilled chicken breast and fries (I do not know if they have a dedicated fryer.) On the bright side they serve milkshakes that are a religious experience. So good!

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Excellent

I went by to see if they still had a dedicated fryer and the server I spoke with stated they do have a fryer that is only French fries but that the other fryer is carried over it and may drip in it so she couldn’t guarantee it. I decided not to chance it. If only the fries were the end fryer. 🙃

They say they have a separate fryer for gluten free fries but we tried several time on our trip to get gluten free fries and each time said gluten items had accidentally been put in the dedicated fryer. We asked when the oil was changed and went back but same story was given. Such a shame🙁

While no gf listings on the menu or website, they do have a dedicated fryer and a dedicated grill. We ordered burgers, no buns and had fries! Two groups of us ate there on different days and staff was knowledgeable!
