This could easily be a great small hotel. But I was there for a conference, and (as I told the conference organizers) I have celiac disease and have to eat GF. Yet, at this conference, three mornings in a row there was no GF food for breakfast. At lunchtime on Day 1, there was a buffet with food that *might* have been GF, but since its ingredients weren't marked, and nobody was around to answer my questions, I couldn't safely eat. At lunchtime on Day 2, I ate on my own expense in the hotel restaurant, which did list GF items -- but only a few, and the waiter seemed annoyed or confused when I asked to have the kitchen staff change gloves when they made my food. At the dinnertime events, I was offered the same thing both nights: a plate of cooked summer squash -- no meat, no protein, no entree -- while all around me my friends were enjoying actual meals. I felt like a second-class citizen, at best -- and completely invisible at worst. Otherwise, this is a great hotel, so I do give the two stars. But if they cannot accommodate GF people, then they need to quit pretending that they do, and to announce this honestly, so that my conference can avoid booking with them. Stay away from this place if you have to eat GF.
