This place is amazing. Our server was so friendly and knowledgeable. When I told him I was Celiac, he immediately said “no problem.” He explained how they prep the dishes and how they could accommodate me. Most everything on the menu is GF.
It is a small restaurant that feels welcoming. It appears only locals or those in the know go here. The Omasaka was amazing and the chef was phenomenal to watch.
I did not get sick.

Awesome sushi and great for GF. The main sushi chef (owner?) was lovely and was clear that none of the sushi has soy sauce or gluten. He kept an eye on me and when a server brought a bottle of soy sauce he noticed and asked her to bring me tamari instead. The sushi was great and the experience at the sushi bar was really fun. The miso soup isn’t GF and some of the entrees aren’t, either. Ask a server about the dishes other than sushi. I highly recommend this place. **Update from a second visit: the sushi chef remembered me and that I needed to be GF. What an awesome guy. Go visit him!
