Iguana Joe's

Iguana Joes is one of my regular restaurants since I work in Baytown. They have a separate GF menu. I am not sure about how strict the cross contamination possibilities are listed on the menu - for instance they say the chips are GF but I do not know if they have a dedicated fryer. So far I have not had any adverse symptoms after eating them though. I would recommend adhering to the menu. I did feel ill one time after eating off a plate that mistakenly came with their rice (marked as not GF for some reason) and refried beans (not noted on the menu). Their servers are not overly knowledgeable so you do need to be your own advocate !

Very knowledgeable on cross contamination. Even has a gluten free menu which has a gluten guide explaining what sides and sauces are celiac safe.
