My son is newly diagnosed and we had a hockey tournament and struggled with eating out with the team but IHOP was his favourite place with the most options for breakfast. They had gluten free pancakes that he says were delicious! They knew right away what he couldn't eat. Not sure how they would be if they were very busy but at the time we went it was pretty empty.
Went here for GF breakfast. They said they have been able to get the mix, after seeing the reviews it looks like they never had it. They advertise gf pancakes upon entry. False advertising. Stuck with expensive egg and bacon with tasteless undercooked hash browns. Also they charge fees/tax for extras for tourism
Called ahead to inquire about gluten free options available, was told they have pancakes, waffles, menu is labeled. Arrived and ordered to be told they're out of gluten free pancakes... Made due with eggs, bacon, and hash browns instead, until they served it with sausage that's not gluten free....
We came here after seeing menu online had gluten-free pancakes and other items but once we were ready to order the waitress confirmed they had no such thing. Needless to say we left and went to Denny’s even if it was 20 mins walk and were not disappointed. IHOP really disappointed us with their false advertisement plus everything on the menu was around 30$.
Called ahead and made sure they were able to accommodate celiacs. They manager was extremely helpful and informed the servers that I would be coming. She personally oversaw my entire order and made sure my food was safe. I had the pancake breakfast combo and didn’t have any reaction. Just be sure to advocate for yourself and let them know and they will go above and beyond to accommodate you. Pleasantly surprised.
