Been here several times, staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Never got sick. Definitely recommend for celiacs.

Super knowledgeable and friendly. Immediately knew how to treat celiac/allergies. They pulled out all the stops for cross contamination — changed gloves, kept everything separate, etc. Everything can be made gluten free except for fried/breaded options, and the GF bun didn’t cost extra! Definitely coming back.

Finally, a place for Celiacs to go if they want a delicious sub sandwich. The staff was very knowledgeable about cross contamination and even substituted the provolone cheese for dairy free/vegan. I had sandwich #118 / Tony Soprano. I hadn’t had a sub sandwich in years and was impressed at how delicious it was, even with the modifications. If you want just a simple lunch then this place is for you. Plus, you get a lollipop, vegan is offered as well, with every purchase.

Wanted to check this place out. So my taste buds say: If you feel like having sandwiches for lunch/dinner, well this is the place. Finally a sandwich shop w/gluten free bread!!!I ordered the #65 Turkey avocado w/red pesto. Delish!! They also have veggie/vegan sandwhiches too, for the vegan peeps. Great sandwich shop. I'll be coming back for sure. Sorry to the other sandwich shops, no gluten free bread.
Yes
While no GF menu, there is GF bread, and cashier was knowledgeable about GF options. They change gloves, knives, etc for GF orders. So excited Ike's is now in Tustin!
They were very careful and knowledgeable. No issues afterwards. One of the best sandwiches I've had! I had the Menage A Trois. Delicious! The only problem is there isn't an Ike's near me!

I have gone to various Ike’s locations for years, and I am a sensitive Celiac. I have yet to get sick. They take extra precautions, so your food will take 15 extra minutes on top of a normal sandwich time. I recommend ordering in advance through the app or online. Also, the bread is incredibly dry, so order extra sauce on the bread. I normally order Italian dressing and ask it to be put on both sides of the bread before the toppings. It is a $3 upcharge for gluten free and then extra for the sauce, so know your sandwich will be pricey. So. Delicious. And. Worth it.

This is the best sandwich shop ever! While offering gluten free options for celiac, they also offer regular food. Staff is nice and organized. Food takes a little too long to prepare. But delicious. Definitely recommend.

Catered to my celiac properly. went and washed her hands and changed her gloves. Got the Matt Cain extra dirty with a rice crispy treat. With no reaction! Bread fell apart but that’s to be expected. Lots of options to choose from!
