IN-N-OUT staff are properly trained in allergy protocols. The staff is knowledgeable and can speak to their process. They change gloves, bag the GF food separately, mark the receipt (make sure to tell them it’s for GF order), and use a designated fryer. They wipe down the tables often and you can request a placemat if eating inside. Other than the buns, there are not a lot of items on the menu that HAVE gluten- and the food is prepped on a divided assembly line so the bun station is separate from the meat/onions grill station. The person grilling the buns -stays at that station, so the risk of cross contact is lower. We love coming here!
