We ordered to go from Inaho. They start taking orders over the phone at 3pm. I called at 3:30 and got in the queue for a callback. They called at about 4pm to take the order.
I started discussing specific items, like “does the caterpillar roll use tempura on the shrimp?” (It does.) But I missed the bigger point that the kitchen will just take gluten-free as a modification and remove the gluten ingredients. No need to request piecemeal modifications like I’ve had to do at other sushi places in the past. Fish roe, flakes, and spicy mayo are all ingredients that they will remove, maybe others.
Their current menu doesn’t quite match what is on their website, so I had to make some quick decisions on substitutions.
The fish and sushi was all excellent. Fresh, well-made and delicious.
