Symptomatic Celiac

Overall Rating

Review

Celiac and LOTS of allergies including nuts, lentils and lemon, all common in Indian food, but still managwd to have the best Indian meal ever here! Chicken saag with rice and chickpea Naan bread.

For anyone reading this with allergies, they were incredibly accommodating. I came with a list of my allergens for the kitchen and a list of menu items that I thought could potentially work. The manager steered me in the right direction and even offered to make a custom dish for me if the menu items he suggested didn't seem appealing. I def recommend. What a great dining experience!

Celiac

When we want a treat we get India Gate. So far I have loved everything I have tried. We normally get the dinner for 2…two protein dishes, veggie dish and a choice of rice. They also include naan bread so my non-celiac husband eats that and they make me a similar bread from chick peas. It’s awesome. I also get overwhelmed by all the choices when ordering (I think there are 2 things other than the naan that aren’t safe) so usually ask for recommendations when I order. The service is great. We always get take out and always take care to wrap the naan separately and seal it so it doesn’t contaminate the rest. The portions are large and the dinner for 2 gives the two of us supper, lunches for tomorrow and a late night snack :)

Great service, most items on the menu are sauce-based that are thickened with cream or other gf agents. Great options, love the butter chicken, tikka masala, and navratan curry!
