Visited this cafe on spring break based on the reviews here, but were sadly disappointed. Gf sandwich bread is toasted in shared toaster and the wrap alternative is just okay. Small, shared kitchen with lots of opportunities for cross contact. Gf pastries are in a shared case, again with lots of cross contact. They did have brownies and blueberry muffins in the freezer but we decided not to try those. They were very busy so I didn't feel very confident in the safety of the food.
Love it here! Their GF baked goods are soooo good I went every day. They have muffins, brownies, sandwiches, avocado toast, hasbrowns, wraps ! Their muffins are in a different wrap than the normal ones and are kept in the fridge. Same microwave used for all products to warm them up. Cross contact could be an issue for some.
One of my favorite places when visiting Indian Rocks. They had so many gluten-free options from smoothies, coffee, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, wraps, muffins, hashbrowns and my favorite the avocado toast. The avocado toast was to die for, I got it both days I came to visit. Highly recommend this place. The people who own it are also super friendly.
GF breakfast sandwiches are NOT Celiac safe. My husband is Celiac and asked them to change gloves, which they did, but then they put his sandwich on the same surface as the other sandwiches, used the same knife to cut it, and touched my (non-GF) sandwich before touching his. The coffee was also just not good at all. We took about 2 sips of it before throwing it away. Positives about the experience: very nice staff and cute place! 😊
I love this place! It is run by the owners Jean and husband chef Jeff who are always friendly and cheerful. If a small coffee shop cafe with a nice selection of gluten free pastries and bread for sandwiches. Foods seems great and they are very familiar (w/family member) gluten issues.
This cute little cafe was a couple doors down from our air bnb. They have gluten free bread for sandwhichs and an assortment of pastries. The pastries and quiche's are brought in and kept separately. The sandwhichs are made on the same surface, but they will change golves. If you are celiac I would probably stick to the smoothies or pastries. The coffee was awesome. They also have space fruit- like dip n dots but fruit based. I am NCGI and my husband has celiac. He had a smoothie and I had the breakfast sandwhich.
