They now have a dedicated Gluten Free fryer and new GF menu with tons of options, including a variety of Gluten Free desserts. They also offer Vegetarian and Vegan. I’ve been several times since they revamped the Gluten free options and have had no issue. I am extremely sensitive to cross contamination.
Indigo used to be so awesome when it first opened. Now most of the gf choices are gone and I’m left with over-priced steak or scallops. Not sure what happened here, but it seems like the owner and/or the chef has lost their oomph. Menu hasn’t changed and as a celiac, I can do much better in Chattanooga for a nice dinner out. It’s disappointing.
I was SO excited about this lovely little cafe with so many gluten free options. I have NEVER had gluten free baklava--which means I have not had it in at least 14 years (since I was diagnosed with celiac). The food was very good but, sadly, I got pretty sick. I NEVER want baklava again. The server was very kind but kept mixing things up, and I do not know if the glutening was her fault or if the baklava or other things I ate were not truly gluten free. I got more ill than I have been in a while. I hope this business steps up their gluten free safety protocol because it has such good offerings. I will go back and try one more time and report back.

We ordered an appetizer that was labeled on the menu as gluten free. It came with bread and crackers. When I asked, the waitress said the bread and crackers were not gluten free and did bring crackers that I recognized as gluten free. The entree I ordered also said gluten free, but when I started to have symptoms I asked about ingredients and was told it was wheat. Strongly recommend asking about each dish regardless of what the menu says.
Great vegan and gf options which is rare in this area. Hard to find a gf veggie burger so that was exciting. Overall not my favorite gf meal but happy to have somewhere safe and fancy to eat in town.
This place is awesome and very aware of celiac precautions. Our waitress Kristine was AMAZING and the owner is super nice and aware of celiac gluten free needs. The menu is marked and the chef was willing to make changes to dishes if wanted. The frier is dedicated gf for the gf items marked on the menu. Would definitely recommend for a great dinner!
