I have a number of sensitivities and IF had me covered. I got the taco plate, which was delicious and it’s always awesome to know that a place has zero gluten in the premises. They even post a sign warning against bringing outside food and drinks. Bravo!

This place is a miracle! My daughter can't do dairy and I can't do gluten or egg. Not only can we all safely eat here as a family but we choose to keep coming back because the food in incredible! My husband doesn't have any allergies and will still opt for this choice because it's so good. I love the churro doughnuts and the chicken salad sandwich is amazing. You know a restaurant is great when you’re more than willing to drive just shy of an hour to enjoy the food. Every item is delicious which is unheard of when you have food allergies. The baked goods are the best we’ve ever had. My husband is the biggest critic and he will buy a dozen cookies at a time. The owners become your friends and you really feel at home every time you’re there.

Amazing amazing amazing! Ate here for the first time today. I have Celiac Disease. Felt confident I wouldn't get glutened because all their food is free from the top 8 allergens! And some food was vegan but I'm not vegan so I really enjoyed the shredded beef in my dish. The deserts were so good I almost cried! The lemon cookie and smores cookie in particular. We also had the churro donut and strawberry donut. We brought the kiddos and they loved their lunch and deserts too! Choose your own adventure kid meal! We got 1 order of their of chicken nuggets and French fries and the kids shared and ate all of it. Lovely overall experience with excellent customer service and tasty food. We'll definitely be returning!

This place is awesome!! I was skeptical that it wouldn’t live up to its reviews, but it exceeded my expectations. It can be difficult for me to eat out at times as I have a tree nut allergy, am gluten free and avoid soy, but was able to safely eat here without having to ask a bunch of questions. I never have this many options most places!

I chose a shredded beef hash bowl with regular potatoes instead of sweet potatoes. It was SO good! The serving was pretty large and I couldn’t finish it all. My non gluten free fiancé had no problem finishing it for me and also thought it was very good.

I can’t wait to go back!

This place is amazing. Traveling from out of town, we always have to plan ahead and are never sure what to expect, but IF delivers. The food is outstanding, fresh and delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The menu is not just allergy-free, it’s appropriate for a wide variety of ages and personal preferences. Our celiac son, who is incredibly hard to impress, was so enthusiastic about the food that he wouldn’t let me carry the takeaway to the car (“Mom, if anything happens to this food, I need it to be on me.”) The owner came out to chat for a bit and he was kind, friendly, and truly cared about our experience and enjoyment of our food. Intentional Foods is a true gem!

We eat at intentional foods at least once a week and have for more than two years. The restaurant is free of the top 9 allergens and it’s so comforting to know the effort put in by the owners to ensure all ingredients are safe. The staff and owners are amazing and do a great job of making it feel like a community! They recently added alcohol to the menu and all of it is safe! Make sure to try taco Tuesday with a churro donut for dessert!

I have celiac with DH and am extremely sensitive. I had absolutely no reaction to the bacon/lettuce/avo/tomato sandwich or to the several bowls and sides I tried over several days when visiting Chandler. Delicious food and excellent, attentive, friendly service. As soon as we arrived and sat on the patio, the chef (owner?) came out and greeted us. They give the impression of true dedication, as well as competence, in handling all dietary restrictions, not just gluten. I will make a point of going back whenever I travel in the Phoenix area.

We tried this for the first time tonight. After being horribly glutened about a month ago, I’ve been extremely discouraged about ever eating out again. Until tonight. Lisa and Ned have given me back my “normal”. Incredibly delicious food for those with OR without food allergies! I created this account to leave my first review of this restaurant. My dietary restrictions are very new (1 year) and this is the best restaurant I’ve been to that accommodates top 8 allergens. Completely gluten free facility, and the food was amazing. I had the chicken salad sandwich with fries, Apple donut, cinnamon roll donut, and I tried the Rotner fries. Excellent. The churro donut was sooo delicious! Krispy, tender and tasty. Full of happy flavors. Also the S’mores cookies is to die for. They gave me one sample as a gift! For dinner I had the Rotner fries. A little bit tasteless… I didn’t love it but it was ok for an occasional craving. I would add more flavor to the meat and beans and a touch of salt. But overall it was a nice experience to eat in here. I will definitely come back to taste other items in their menu. I tested all the food with my Nima sensor and it came back with no gluten. This restaurant is free from 8 top allergens which is fantastic! Don’t hesitate to visit them if you are in Phoenix area.

I have been celiac for 4 years living in AZ, I try to find restaurants to eat at all the time- this has been on my list for some time, but due to a move and covid I was unable to try it- I'm back in the valley and I have to say, this is hands down the best allergen restaurant I've ever seen, and could probably compete for safest places to eat in the world. I truly cannot get over how good everything on the menu is, especially the baked goods. I don't understand how the donuts are gluten free, yet alone top 8 allergen free. It was also recently listed on yelps top 100 places to eat, and it deserves it. This place deserves all the business.

This place is an unprecedented experience. I have never felt more safe dining at a restaurant 😁 we have come back multiple time because not only is it safe, ITS DELICIOUS 😋 the chef has put in some real work to pull off a rather difficult feat. Food that is safe, healthy, and delicious. My favorite is the chicken salad sandwich and the macaroni salad. I also really liked the waffle bites. The staff and the food are top notch.

Oh my gosh! I love this place!!! I LOVE the owners! My family of 6 always eat here! They even make specialty order for us and all the allergies of one kiddo, they know our order! I absolutely love having them and can’t wait for them to deliver lol

The food is fresh and delicious! The owners are so friendly. “No nuts, dairy, gluten, wheat, egg, soy, sesame, or seafood. Ever” (IF Cafe &Market). An app called Spookin had a few reviews so I had to try it.

Surprisingly , this restaurant has not appeared in any searches for gluten-free or allergy friendly restaurants in Phoenix, but it should be number one on those lists.

Everything is 100% safe! Which is a dream for this celiac! & they cater to other food allergies as well. Nothing contains the top 8 allergens & they can accommodate other requests as well including helping me find safe options that don’t include corn. I drive really far just to come here as the owners are incredibly kind, & take safety & good food seriously. Everything I’ve tried has been good but I love their desserts, especially the cinnamon roll donut! It’s a blessing to have a place that’s 100% safe to go to in the valley!

This is a MUST try! The owners are so kind. I am like a walking gluten tester and I didn’t get sick!! For reference I got very sick after eating at Jewels and won’t try anywhere else other than this place anymore.
