Chips are in a shared fryer. Corn tortillas are pressed on the same press as flour. You can get most tacos in a bowl with rice and beans but I was not impressed with the flavors. Tacos lack flavor
My “go to” place. Several GF options, the most taco variety I’ve found in this area. I always get mine in a bowl. I especially enjoy their chips & dips (you know how hard it is to find a place where you can have both). The food is consistently good. VARIETY- a rare find for GF folks :-)
It makes me feel like a normal person when I go there. No one rolling their eyes when I order or saying “gluten what?” Or “I think it’s ok”. Staff is attentive & conscientious.
This place was great, and oddly enough it was the highlight of our dining experiences in the Venice area during our vacation (and the least expensive).
I'm highly allergic to gluten and almost everything there is gluten free. They even had a dedicated fryer for their chips, so it was a refreshing change that I was able to enjoy chips, salsa and queso with my family.
I got carne asada tacos which were very good and a nice size.
I will definitely be back next time we are visiting family in the area.
