Iron Horse Cafe & Pie Shop

An oasis for coeliacs in the area. Decent cafe serving excellent US staples: sandwiches and burgers. Waiting staff are clear that the fryer is shared and not GF, but burgers ans sandwiches can be done with GF bread/buns and the side salads are very good. There is a charge of 3USD for GF breads. The GF desserts - pies and sometimes cheesecake are excellent. We visited three times while staying in area in a week. Easily accessible off the motorway.

Wonderful bread and bun. Very accommodating and knowledgeable. Shared fryer. Has a great side salad instead of fries. They had two gf pies so we had both and they were both fantastic!

We had the dagwood and it was very good. We came back 2 days in a row. Service was a little bit slow but worth the wait. More than one selection of GF pie to choose from.
