Iron Springs Cafe

The staff is very celiac knowledgeable. I had andouille sausage, eggs, and corn tortillas. Excellent food and service!

I read the reviews for Iron Springs Cafe so decided to try it. I told the server I am allergic to gluten due to medical issues - I stressed this several times. He said I would be safe if I ordered the special of the day - carnitas - with corn tortillas. The result? I was sick immediately after eating. I asked him ‘where do they heat up the corn tortillas?’ He said on the grill. I then asked ‘where do they heat the flour tortillas?’ He said on the grill.’ He then realized I was sick and said ‘they wipe the grill off sometimes.’ Be careful if you eat here. I won’t be back.
