Let me start by saying I have been to Italian table multiple times with success. I have celiac disease and therefore eat gluten free. I know they kitchen staff take precautions when preparing food for someone with an allergy. The menu has gluten free markings, which is different than some restaurants that opt to use gluten aware or gluten friendly markings (shifting responsibility to the consumer). On April 3, 2024 my family and I went for dinner and I ordered the gluten free carbonara. The server explained that the only difference in making this GF is leaving out the prosciutto because it is fried in a deep fryer that also cooks gluten containing foods. Normally a manager brings out the GF foods but the server brought mine with my husbands (a dish with gluten). You can see in the top of the photo there are small pink pieces of prosciutto. I began eating it before I noticed this. The manager came by a couple minutes later with my sisters GF pasta and I showed her. She took the dish and brought me a new one that did not have prosciutto. Fast forward 2.5 hours and I began vomiting and having severe stomach pain. I spent 3 hours vomiting. Today the stomach pain continues, and I have a rash around both of my eyes. The photo does not do it justice. They removed the meal from our bill "for peace of mind". I understand that things happen, and cross contamination can occur in a shared kitchen. What is not acceptable is serving someone a food that shouldn't be present in the meal if it is flagged as a possible allergen. What is most ironic about this is we went to use a gift card we received because Prime Catering cross contaminated food at my wedding in January. I was not going to leave a review about that, but I (the bride) had to leave my wedding early because I started vomiting 2 hours after dinner. It is very unfortunate this happened. I won't be returning to Italian Table or using Prime Catering as someone with celiac disease.

I was very impressed with the knowledgeable staff and management. They explained to me how my meal would be prepared and stopped by the table several times to see if my meal was good. I was very confident eating here as a celiac with sensitive cross contamination issues.
