Ixtapa Mexican Grill & Cantina

Stopped here on our way home from Ha Ha Tonka. I do not have celiac but I get a rash for days when I have gluten. Not sure if that's an allergy or an sensitivity but it isn't fun.

They do not have a GF menu but seemed knowledgeable about it and were very helpful. They have corn tortillas that are soft and delicious. Their chips are homemade, thin and crispy, but i doubt they were prepared in a dedicated frier. I had the street tacos that come on the corn tortillas. There were other tacos that you could order with corn tortillas. They told me the veggie fajita was GF. The street tacos came with Spanish rice and refried beans. They said the rice was not GF so they have me extra refried beans.

I will modify this note if break out in a rash tomorrow. Their food and service were top-notch. The margaritas were great, and that is one of the reasons I try mexican restaurants!
