Review of J. Alexander's

Seems like you can eat somewhat safely here, but you'll be on your own figuring it out. Waiter on my recent visit confirmed no GF menu and no allergen list. Said he would speak to chef about it. Chef's response (via waiter) was, "we cannot guarantee anything but we'll do the best we can with what you order." So, not helpful at all. Also, pre-diagnosis I used to eat the Thai salad and remembered it had wonton strips on it. Wonton strips are not listed on the menu. I asked for them held and they agreed that they would normally be served. So beware. They do have some grilled items like steak and fish that appear safe, and have heard anecdotally that the steak & fries is safe. Good food but celiac beware.
