I was really looking forward to this place, but would have to say it wasn’t the best. Ordered the S&S chicken, honey chicken, veg rice and veg noodles. Rice had not a lot of flavour, the noodles were all broken, but flavour was good. Chickens were both good.

I always feel safe ordering from here as a celiac. They have a seperate fryer and kitchen area for preparing gf foods. Food always tastes fresh and labeled well. We order this for takeout and we have never had an issue. They have a seperate gf menu. My kids love the sweet and sour pork, honey sesame fried chicken, beef with broccoli and mushrooms, chicken fried rice and the vegetable chow fun.

While walking back to the inner harbour area from Craigdarroch Castle I used the Find Me Gluten Free app to find a suitable restaurant to eat. We were lucky to catch them while they were still open for lunch and enjoyed amazing gluten free Chinese food. I was the only one in our group of 6 that needed gluten free food but we all ordered off the gluten free menu and everyone agreed it was delicious. The service staff were friendly and efficient. I can’t wait to go back to Victoria to enjoy the food here as it was the first time I could enjoy Chinese food in many years. Please note that they closed in the afternoon while we were there in Summer 2023 so it would be wise to check hours before attempting to visit. Highly recommend.

We've gone here for years and I absolutely love it! I'm celiac and have never had a problem here; they take it very seriously. It's the ONLY Chinese food I've ever felt completely safe eating...anywhere. GF items are prepared in a separate area of the kitchen and there is a dedicated fryer.

Food is very good and 100% celiac friendly.

My wife is extremely allergic to Gluten and has NEVER had an issue. Everytime we come out West we stop in for a couple of meals.

Staff shortages is an issue so they reduced hours, so call ahead. You can always takeout.

The outdated look street side had us worried, but they did not fail to impress! They had a dedicated GF blue menu that was different from the regular yellow menu. Food was amazing! Flavor was there and even non-GF eaters enjoyed the GF items. Victoria’s best kept secret!

Recently had their food for the first time, chosen because they have a gluten free menu. We ordered the GF House Special Chow Fun, GF Crispy Ginger Beef, GF Sweet & Sour Pork, GF Imperial Prawn with Hot Chili Wine Sauce.

It was extremely good. The gluten free ginger beef tasted like regular crispy ginger beef! It was soooooo good. The chow fun was quite the unexpected surprise. I really miss chow mein and chow fun was their gluten free noodle option. I don't know what they put in the sauce they use but it was some of the best chinese I have ever had.

I would absolutely recommend this place. Lots of gluten free items, and was specially packaged to reduce chance of cross contamination.

They have a very big gluten free (and celiac safe) menu (just ask for it)! They have been serving celiacs since mid 2000s and are knowledgeable about celiac disease. When they bring out the food they make sure to reiterate it is gluten free for every gf dish you order. I haven’t had Chinese food for 3 or 4 years, so I was so excited to try this out while on the island! So many great tasting dishes!!
