Review of Jack Stack Barbecue

I put off writing this review for several months, but feel I must post this. Jack Stack used to be our go-to barbecue restaurant, but the last time we went there, I got glutened. Big time.

The gluten-free menu had been done away with, and an allergen list printed in its place. When I asked the manager for some clarifications, she went to the kitchen for a good 15 minutes before returning with some vague answers. It was clear that there was some confusion going on, but we were there to celebrate a family milestone and I went ahead and ordered the SAME THING I have ordered at least a half-dozen times. I emphasized that I have Celiac’s, repeatedly. I was sick for a week. I will not trust them again, and it makes me sad.
